If you have half a day, you can enjoy a winter activity just like local Sapporoites do!

Just bring winter clothes to keep yourselves warm,
and you can go for ice fishing empty-handed.
Get the caught smelt fish cooked into tempura and taste them right out of the hot oil,
making your winter holiday a truly unforgettable one in Sapporo.

Recommended Programs

- We will provide the fishing equipment! Experience ice fishing empty-handed.
- Pick-up service available from JR Sapporo Station.
- You can taste "Smelt (Wakasagi)" tempura on site. Fun with kids.
- You can choose from Morning Course or Afternoon Course.

Requirements for participation

Ages 4 years old and up.
* Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Pregnant women may not participate.

Minimum: 2 participants
Maximum: 40 participants

* This tour will be canceled if there are less than 2 people booking by 5 days prior,
or when the ice condition is not well.

- Snow wear
- Winter cap (that covers your ears)
- Winter gloves
- Muffler
- Sun glasses
- Sun screen
- Pocket warmer
- Warm socks (your feet get cold, so two layers of socks are recommended)
- Wet tissue

Important notices

- Please notify all participants' name (full name), gender and age.

- Please bring your own winter clothes,
however, rental snow pants and snow boots are available.
- Please notify your size of snow pants (M/L/LL/LLL)
and shoe size (23cm/24cm/25cm/26cm/27cm/28cm).
- If you have your own snow pants and boots, and do not need rental,
please notify.
- They are limited numbers of size.
- Rental snow pants and snow boots are not available for children.

- When the tour is canceled due to weather reasons, we will inform you around
[Morning Course] 7:50am-8:00am,
[Afternoon Course ] 11:50am-12:00noon.
So, please notify your mobile phone number or the name and number
of your hotel when booking.

- The guide / instructor will explain in easy / simple English.
- You may not participate in this tour on the spot.
- For your safety,

- Take you litter home.
- The fishing tent is flammable, so please keep fire away.
- Cooking tempura may be canceled due to weather condition.
- Please understand that there is a possibility of not being able to catch any fish
due to various reasons.

Cancellations made by customers will be subject to the following penalty fees:
* 3-7 days before the tour: 20% of the tour fee
* 2 day before the tour: 30% of the tour fee
* 1 day before the tour: 40% of the tour fee
* On the day of the tour: 50% of the tour fee
* No show on the day: 100% of the tour fee
